My Journey

From struggling with fitness to embracing a balanced lifestyle, I’ve learned how small changes create lasting health. Open any fitness forum or family WhatsApp group, and you’ll find the same handful of myths repeated as fact: carbs make you fat, stretching prevents every injury, more sweat means more results. I didn’t set out to correct the internet. I set out to understand why these ideas spread so easily, and why even smart, health-conscious people keep believing them.

As Director at Leeway Fitness, a company that designs and manufactures fitness equipment used in homes and gyms across 500+ Indian cities, I see the gap between fitness theory and how people actually train up close, what equipment gets misused, what habits form around bad advice, and what genuinely works once the noise is removed. That vantage point shapes everything I write.

My health and wellness writing, including the Stress-Free Living series, exists to close that gap, replacing repeated-until-true myths with research and plain language. My doctoral work examined how stress shapes behaviour and decision-making, which helps explain why myths take hold in the first place: people aren’t choosing bad information; they’re choosing whatever feels least stressful to believe.

I’m not interested in fear-based health content or one more diet trend. I’m interested in giving people enough real understanding that they can spot a myth themselves the next time one shows up in their feed. If that’s the kind of straight answer you’re looking for, you’re in the right place.
